Who will survive and what will be left of them? The iconic Leatherface has been around since 1974 and has seen multiple sequels, reboots, and prequels. Well, another prequel has been finished filming for some time now and fans have been wondering when this long-awaited prequel, simply titled Leatherface, will be released. Wonder no more! Just recently producer Christa Campbell revealed on Twitter that Leatherface is coming in October!

In Leatherface, the story revolves around four inmates who escape from a mental hospital late one night. One of them will become the title character and iconic slasher, known as Leatherface. The quartet kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge.
