Terror Trek – The Hidden Horrors of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’

Thirty years ago, Star Trek: The Next Generation invited us back into the future to go where no man had gone before. While I geeked out quite a lot over space battles and aliens, what titillated and thrilled me most about Gene Roddenberry’s vision of the future were the subtle elements of horror that appeared with each new iteration of the series. For the sake of  my word count, this particular Terror Trek will only consist of Star Trek: The Next Generation, because when it comes to scaring Trekkies, no crew did it better. Get ready to go boldly where every blogger has gone before at some time or another as I bring to you this bizarrely themed listicle. Cue the Star Trek theme.
