Some dolls have a natural creepiness to them. I mean probably not Barbie®, but there have been some horrific stories about possessed baby dolls. Robert the Doll is probably one of the most infamous possessed toys. Next up being Annabelle. There is just something unsettling about certain dolls, in particular, possessed ones. Now, there’s a new creepy toy in town. High Octane Pictures is bringing this one to life in Curse of the Witch’s Doll, premiering on VOD on February 6th. Here are all the details, including cool stills and trailer!
The film is directed by Lawrence Fowler and stars Helen Crevel, Michelle Archer, and Claire Carreno.
Official Synopsis for Curse of the Witch’s Doll:
Adeline Gray’s attempt to escape bombing in her home town leads her to a derelict, creepy manor in the woods. When Adeline’s young daughter goes missing during a game of hide-and-seek, a series of inexplicable events lead her to believe a haunted doll holds a vengeful soul; the soul of a murdered Witch. As Adeline’s desperate search for her daughter continues, it soon becomes clear; to have any hope of being reunited, she must defeat the curse of The Witch’s Doll.
This film looks creepy! This doll is sinister! Menacing, reminds me of the little Zuni doll in Trilogy of Terror. This looks like a great watch. Looks like some jumpy moments throughout.
