‘No Lives Matter’ (2018) – One Minute Short Film Review

As you probably know by now, I am a huge fan of short stories and films. Most short films are under twenty minutes, while some are even shorter. Recently, I checked out MIKAL’s 2018 zombie flick, No Lives Matter, which is only one minute long. You read that right… one minute. How does this horror short stack up against full length zombie films? What did I think of it? Find out below!

My Thoughts:

This film is just a minute long, but it makes excellent use of such a short amount of time. The zombies are diverse, which reflects our society. The are believable as well, and I felt that the undead movements were not overdone. The editing is on point as well. The music synced up nicely to the lurches and jerks of the zombies. In my personal opinion, the soundtrack makes this film! It has a ’80s and ’90s feel to it. While it is not a feature length project, it packs a lot of punch in its single minute. I enjoyed this short but sweet zombie film treasure!
