Panic Film Fest Announces 2018 Lineup!

This January 26-28, Kansas City, MO will be under siege. Monsters – both real and imagined – will be flooding the Screenland Armour Theatre for 6th annual Panic Film Festival at the Screenland Armour Theatre for three full days of celebrating the originality and ingenuity of some of the newest independent horror films.

On top of the introduction of brand new awards including Best Director, Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Short Film and Audience Choice Feature Film, 2018’s Panic Film Festival will also include special guests Adam Green (Hatchet series) and Joe Lynch (Mayhem 2017), who will host a live edition of their popular The Movie Crypt, The Generation Why? Podcast, which delves into the macabre of true crime in a presentation-style live event.

“We are thrilled to reveal the film line-up for 2018, as we were bombarded with exciting new films from all over the world. We truly believe this is the most solid film line-up we’ve had to date,” said Adam Roberts, co-founder of the festival and owner of Screenland Armour.

Sponsored by Screenland Theatres, Downright Creepy, Boulevard Brewing Company, IFC Midnight and Film Society KC, this year’s Panic Film Festival will feature over over twenty new horror, thriller and science fiction films, as well as two short film showcases. In addition to the films, the festival features vendors from all over the country with the Phantom Podcast Network hosting live events.

“We really wanted to take a big step forward in becoming the forefront for emerging films and filmmakers in these genres,” said Tim KC Canton, co-founder of the festival and founder of DownrightCreepy.com.
