If you love films about demon possession and ones like Unfriended, you’ll definitely want to check out the new horror film THE ViRAl DEMON. See the trailer and other information down below!
THE ViRAL DEMON is written and directed by Jeremy Wechter. The film is executive produced by P.J. Starks, creator of the critically acclaimed Volumes of Blood franchise and executive producer of 10/31, Butcher the Bakers and Close Calls. Four college friends participate in an annual video chat that goes horribly wrong when an ancient evil, imprisoned by witchcraft, is inadvertently released. Witness the hellish first night of demonic possession as it unfolds in real-time. As the possessions multiply and the body count rises, their night of fun becomes a race to stop the evil before it can spread across the world through electronic means. Knowing who to trust is the key to survival.
About the project THE ViRAL DEMON:
The complex antagonist is rooted in actual history and has a continuing narrative that could lead to potential sequels. THE ViRAL DEMON raises questions about technology and human connection that is so relevant to our modern society.
I’ve known P.J. Starks awhile now and everything he’s worked on is always amazing. Therefore, I’m looking forward to this project and will keep you updated with more information as it comes!
