Werewolves are scary enough, but Nazi werewolves? Talk about a freaking nightmare! Welsh filmmaker Andrew Jones’ newest film, Werewolves of the Third Reich, gives us a peek into the evil Dr. Mengele’s laboratory to show us just what would have happened if Hitler’s mad scientist had had the ability to create an army of unstoppable, bloodthirsty soldiers, half man and half wolf. After watching the trailer below, you might just be willing to kill some Nazis yourself.
Here’s the official synopsis:
In Germany at the height of World War II, a ragtag group of American soldiers discover Doctor Mengele’s diabolical plan to create an unstoppable army of Nazi werewolves.
Written, produced, edited and directed by Andrew Jones (The Curse of Robert the Doll 2016), Werewolves of the Third Reich stars Annabelle Lanyon (Legend 1985), Derek Nelson (For Her… 2017), Lee Bane (The Curse of Robert the Doll 2016), Gareth Lawrence (The Revenge of Robert the Doll 2018) and Suzie Frances Garton (The Curse of Robert the Doll 2016). The special effects were created by Dave Fox (The Quiet Zone 2015) while the score was composed by frequent Andrew Jones collaborator Bobby Cole.
Looks like The Inglorious Basterds meet something even more horrifying than a Nazi V2 rocket warhead, and I couldn’t be more happy. Werewolves of the Third Reich releases in the US on December 5th and in the UK on February 19th. You can find the film on Amazon, at Walmart, Best Buy, FYE and Target.
